I almost forgot about the awesome vibe this place has and it doesn't change, today was super packed and I thought we were going to starve to death like in all other Spurs we have been to but this place just never dissapoints!! We were served quickly and professionally as always, our waitron was Maleeto... Very professional and proficient at her job... I take my hat off to the owners of this Spur!!

Very busy but waitrons handle it very well. Happy with the quality and quantity of food. Lovely ambience and we always walk away full and satisfied

Okay service if you get a good person, always have to wait in a queue to get in, the food was nice and juicy not dry, had the apache with a cooler, also added ice-cream, delicious creamy ice-cream

It was fully packed so maybe that's why our waiter used to disappear for a long time, sweet lady though. The food was really average, especially the ribs, they lacked the sauce, otherwise portions were good. My mom, aunt and cousin loved the salad (stingy with the croutons and mushrooms). They sang for me ???? (it was my birthday).

What was meant to be a happy birthday for my dear mom turned out to be a not so pleasant experience, very saddening service ever, have certainly had better experiences but today's one only gets a two star only because of our waiter Thabo and the lady that assisted at the door and the effort of the manager to get back the table that was patiently waited for but ended up with other patrons being seated before us. The "special order" of food was a bit unpleasant though, definitely not a norm for the restaurant but it had to be today *sigh*

We had a R1000 voucher and somehow my voucher was also claimed without me requesting it to be claimed, the service was dodge and I don't understand why a voucher of mine was claimed over and above the R1000 voucher which was not completely used. I hope there wasn't any dishonesty practiced today, it would be sad to see and experience unethical practices by employees.

Pathetic service from your management of Spur at Gold Reef City Branch. After multiple attempts to ask them to turn the music down a little bit because I could not hear the people at my table talking. they managed to do so, but later on turns it up louder. Not a pleasan experience. The wings came cold and hard, really wasn’t worth the visit.

Please review your Branch managers client facing behavior and attitude, she does not have a pleasant personality to deal with people. The waiter on the other hand was great.

Spur has really become another disappointment in this country.

I am not a fan of Spur restaurants. I was a regular in the 80's as a student, but now that I am older, yelling kids do not contribute to my dining pleasure.

Spur is one of the better places to get a burger and this one is one of the better Spur restaurants.
