So good!!! The Nachos were the best, and our waitress was so kind. I also loved the setting, it felt very cosy and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place.

We came here as our first dinner stop during our Johannesburg visit. We arrived to the area during a “load shed” in which the electricity was out in the area. Hell’s Kitchen was open during this and was candle lit, with a couple lights and a generator for music. The food and drinks were fantastic and the service was excellent. Would highly recommend!

One of my favourite bars in Johannesburg. It’s great to have an institution like this in Melville, and that it survived covid. Its a favourite local for so many. Keep on supporting the local music scene!

Hell's Kitchen is a favourite for many people in Joburg. I like it too for its cosy setup that feels very homely.
My only issue is the overcrowding which I've experienced. Perhaps due to live performances but the space can be small so crowd control would be great.

The service was great. The food took quite a long time to make and some ingredients were missing due to there not being stock. The flavours of the food were wonderful, maybe just an off-day in Hell's Kitchen, usually a much better experience than the last. Come on guys, don't let lockdown get you, you're better than this!

Stopped by for dinner and a few drinks. Lovely food and drinks! Portions were very generous, wish I’d been able to fit in a few more of the sweet potato fries alongside the delicious maple glazed bacon burger. Only slight peeve was that the bourbon was served with ice when asked for without, but very tiny! It was very peaceful when we were there mid afternoon and early evening on a Saturday. Would love to have caught a live band or two!
