Such a quaint place. Overall very cute little place, would definitely recommend to pop in when in the area.

Decor is just lovey and is my favorite part of the restaurant.

Only tip I can give would be to add a little more seasoning to the food, we ordered the pulled pork and spice beef pizza, I had to add salt, it was still pleasant and enjoyed it none the less.

I quite enjoyed getting to see the pizza being made fresh.

This is a lovely spot for groups and for individual dining. I found it very romantic and it was warm with a fireplace in the cold winter evenings. Great customer service and friendly stuff. The food is delicious ????????

Awesome service! The staff were super friendly ,and the food was delicious . We sat watching the chef cook through the kitchen opening and he was super friendly . The food is presented like an artwork and was every bit amazing. Decor super trendy and cool , while the restaurant had a warm atmosphere, especially with a fire burning in the fire place on a super chilly Joburg day. Great place to eat.

Average food, nice ambience, good service. If you're coming here for pizza you might be disappointed. It's about similar to a frozen pizza from Woolworths. Not bad, not great. Average pizza is not what I expected from La Stalla. Similarly for the salad. Give it a skip if you're coming for these items. Can't comment on other foods.

Had family in town, and this was the one restaurant they requested visiting multiple times. Awesome food and an atmosphere plus service to match! The small plates are great for sharing along with a bottle (or two) of wine from their killer wine list. The staff are super friendly as well and a good chat. Easily one of the best spots on Melville's main strip!
