Chilled area, usually occupied by chess fanatics. Not the cleanest of areas but it's decent nonetheless. So long as one does not mind the sound of barking dogs then it should be a pleasant experience. However, on very rare occasions there is a bit of drama it's a good idea for someone new to the area to relax near the chess players.

I had a great experience at this park.... I really enjoyed being there.... Most of the time I spent time ⌚ playing chess next to the first entrenc.... No crime, people live as a good community. "Hit one stone, you release the rocks from the ground" . I never got robbed ever since. Guys you must try it, it's a great experience.

Staff are friendly and eager to help customers all the time. You cannot spend 30 minutes on queu. They're quick and determined to help the customers

It needs to be brought back to it's former glory one will feel safer if was a safe car park for now the place l recommend is visiting Joburg Art Gallery as the park its a no unless you're a Jozi city dweller
