LEVEL FOUR
The 54 on Bath hotel has an awesome restaurant on its 4th floor called Level Four Restaurant and Champagne Bar and its a definite treat!
She had: The crab bisque, with prawn and fish, this was a nice start-I say nice as it was just that, a very monotone tasting dish. My main was the seafood linguini, extremely tasty filled with prawns,fish,mussels, and clams in a spicy light tomorrow base. Dessert was absolutely a treat. The Creme Brûlée was perfection.
He had: the Beef tartar for starters and the rib eye for mains with the white chocolate ganache for dessert. The tartar was new for me as it was cooked. I thought it was supposed to be raw? Anyhoo, it was quite good, even with the caramelized popcorn bits on it. I opted for the green peppercorn sauce with the rib eye, which was done medium. And it was soooo good. The steak was amazing. The white chocolate ganache was amazing. Not too sweet but just oh so heavenly.
Setting: Somewhat of a fine dining feel, it has ample space, and on a clear day, the garden is a great setting for a luncheon or high tea. Call in advance to book a table!
