I stayed here a few days ago (and it was not my first time) I'm all honesty no BNB or lodge has come close (and I've been to quite a few). The rooms and bathrooms are clean (I say this as stickler for cleanliness) the breakfasts delicious and always on time with a good variety and the owners are the kindest I've possibly met, they constantly put up with my having to extend my stay due to arranging accommodation which I do appreciate. If you're staying in Joburg i would definitely recommend them!

Merwehuis Bed and breakfast is the best place to be. Clean affordable accommodation. Hosts very friendly. Delicious breakfast. Im definitely coming back. Value for money without a doubt. Big ups to Jan and wife not forgetting Martha

Great hosts, lovely room with clean facilities - all you'd ever need, beautiful gardens all around, perfectly located in Joburg to experience all aspects of the city. I feel safe and at home.

I was only here for a short duration. I had a boardroom booking. The staff was very friendly and warm. No problems whatsoever.

Best bed and breakfast I've ever been in...the owners are lovely and friendly. Peaceful relaxing. Breakfast is to die for
