Ordered from Nandos Norwood via the UberEats app. The order delivered to us was someone else’s order. The UberEats driver said that he was given this order and that the fault was on Nandos. (Nandos confirm that my order is still there, but say that it’s the drivers fault).
After 5 calls over a span of 20 minutes, I got through to the Nandos call centre because that’s where the Nandos Norwood number redirects to.
The call centre agent told me to call the same number again and press 2 to call the store, which I did. Between two phones, I made 17 calls over 40 minutes, none of which were answered.
The manager from the store called me back 50 minutes after I initially called the call centre, and was very apologetic but said that the store no longer has anyone answering the phones (because the phone is moved to the office. WHY???) , which is why there was no answer.
She said that she’d try to get a driver to bring my food out to me (still haven’t received it). The managers service (Zintle) was great considering the circumstances.
I don’t understand why the phone would be moved to the office, effectively making it impossible to call the store/place a phone order.
The service I’ve enjoyed from this store in the past has been excellent, and I was very disappointed that my Friday evening staying in was ruined.
