Rooms were clean and tidy.
Breakfast was and meals ordered.
The atmosphere and ambience was good.
Was woken at 8 am on day of checkout....way too early. Person wanted to clean the room. Needless to say a late night or early morning, the extra sleep was needed.
The overall service was great

Good service, safe parking, spacious and comfortable rooms. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has affected everything, even this beautiful and modern hotel. I wait patiently for the tourism industry and business travel to resume so that maintenance can return to the high standards we are accustomed to.

Edit: after reading my review, management has still not called me or emailed me to ask how they can improve or to compromise. I am looking to book a hotel again next week, yet they reply with no intention to better themselves. Absolutely pathetic. Please email me the board's mail addresses.

Would not book here again. The room is neat although very poorly designed with no bathroom door and very cramped space. The staff were not helpful when I had an issue with my booking. The worst part is that the managers do NOT care enough go give you the time of day. I had waited day in and day out for the Reservation Manager to call me yet she didn't. They obviously do not value their guests. They didn't have the decency to say that they were renovating the gym before we arrived. They also did not want to compromise or meet me halfway on an issue that I had with my booking. Very disappointed and would much rather pay the extra money and book at Garden Court. The rooms are clean although the cleaners do not clean 100%. The price that you pay is not worth it for such bad amenities. They need to learn management skills as they are clearly lacking in this department. Even after this review, the reservation manager will still not call me. Please only consider this if you are desperate.

Great hotel, very modern look throughout. Rooms are small but nicely renovated. The service needs a lot of work though. Receptionists are rude and non responsive.. we called for a hairdryer and towels pretty much every other night during our 10 day stay and never received the hairdryer! They seemed to have ran out of towels but would never admit it over the phone. The breakfast buffet was great.

The hotel is beautiful. They were so sweet they organized an extra bed for us at no extra cost. The platter to share was a joke. That meal was for 1 not to share, and the price didn't allow us to buy more than one. They are quite pricey. The hotel is well located with the Sandton mall not so far away. The shuttle service was not punctual. There was a time we waited 2hours for them to fetch us. Not good at all. But the drivers were very friendly. The pool area was clean and very comfortable. Security was on point and always alert.

Conveniently located on Katherine street I think that’s the greatest selling point for me, affordable rates, breakfast was okay preparation was at R165 per head I didn’t think it was good value for money.

The parking can get a bit limited. The staff was very friendly efficient and happy to help with anything. Tebogo was really amazing and understanding.

Everywhere I went it was clean. I really enjoyed my stay 1 night but very worth it the rooms are cute with privacy.

Good hotel, and great location. However, terrible experience when it comes to cancellation of restriction of funds on your ATM card after payment! It has been more than 3 weeks since I stayed there and made a full payment. I am extremely frustrated as there is not even the courtesy of a response to emails; and various international phone calls have yielded no results!
