Personally I’ve been wanting to go to The Greenhouse for so long that my experience left little to be desired.
One needs to remember to make a booking. Quite important to do so. The hostesses are friendly, though over ambitious to accommodate walk-ins. In so doing, this may result in being seated, ordering and being told you have less 30mins to finish up your food and drinks .. unfortunately we did not stay long as this left quite a bitter taste in us.
The service in terms of etiquette was lacking. To the point of annoyance.
A couple walked in and it seemed as though they were regulars because the waiter saw it fit to tell (not ask) me to move my seat to the side where traffic flowed. I obliged, of course a little put off at this point.
The tapas menu is okay. We ordered the tapas falafel with hummus and hot winglets. The falafel was great, hummus not to our liking and the winglets seemed to only be boiled and basted with sauce. Quite disappointing.
Cocktails are a little on the pricey side in my opinions but the main menu looked yum.
It gets really packed and personal space is not a thing.
The vibe is great, music is good, people are beautiful.
Gets full after 8pm.
