I was actually a Johannesburg citizen until 2004!

One weekends or holidays, I living in Parktown
would take a walk or bus and head out to Brixton
To walk, explore but in particular the former
Brixton tower now Sentech tower,was and still is
A formidable and dominant 745 ft landmark that
Truly is what visiting this otherwise trawdy and
Controversial suburb not the kind of place to
Live yet I really enjoyed every visit and walk
Abouts and found most people very friendly and
There are a lot of Afrikaans people and I find them very friendly and obviously the tower and
Those incredible views towards JHB skyline
Are a breathing taking experience we don’t, have the other side of JHB and I,d say I wished
I could rather live out here!

Impressive tower and the variety of street
Views all dominating those amazing on the
Ground walking perspectives and you simply
Enjoyed taking in the sheer heights of this
Lone landmark and image the night lights
Of this iconic tower, that if had living here and
Had this sight day and night man!

Definitely a place to return to and revisit if
Came. Back to JHB!

But sadly I,m never likely to return but my heart
Is still and always will be for. Here and JHB!!!

My favourite place when training for the Comrades in the days...just be Vijulant when going there ...lot of Skelms in the area..not safe anymore...even though flying squad just around the corner

There used to be tours up the tower but no more. On invitation I had the privilege to go up, at the top the view is amazing, the inside is also total different from what you think it might be. Amazing experience and the construction history of it is also impressive. Old engineering at it's best.

Played a cricket match on the UJ fields next to the tower. Easy to access, great vibes and view
