Undoubtably a beautiful place, clean and well taken care of. The plants and choice of furnishing all works well and leaves one feeling away from your daily.
Yet having a four star rating I’d expect four star service. Our room were given four hours late. A promise was made that we could also check out four hours later yet were rushed to be out before the promised time. A fairly cold night we had in the dinning area and the gas for the heater finished mid way through the night. No refund, complete denial to the agreements made when booking and rushing us out only left us with a sour feel for a ‘four star’ establishment.
For the price, expectations and social media posts. I was truly disappointed.

St Peter's place is a wonderful place I reccomend everyone to book it's a nyc place

excellent place, private and intimate, the service is so good and the place is so clean. Shamiso, is such a good host. l really enjoyed my birthday party

The St Peters Place is my 'go to' hotel when staying in Houghton Johannesburg. Ideal location, iconic décor, Reasonable rates, and wonderful, personalized service. Wine and cheese receptions (Fridays u0026 Saturday, I think) their staff is very welcoming. You always feel secure and comfortable when coming or going. My partner and I stayed twice here over the winter and summer. The St Peters Place is good to their regulars which I have become one of. Room upgrades have continued since my last stay in 2017, which are nice to see. We got one of the most newly renovated rooms in February this year. Elegantly renovated bathroom, and nice new decoration. From the moment i stepped in , the design and art is so modern and exquisite,the food is marvellous, the rooms are brilliant its literally the best value for my money , this wont be my last visit.
