Beautiful venue of an event. We where there for a birthday party and was well catered for. Other party was a picnic on the lawn. Amazing green space sk close to the city

Beautiful setting in the heart of Joburg, the ground are lovely and green and beautifully kept. Very professional and helpful staff. Great for functions

Country Clubs aren't my thing so I'm trying not to be biased here. The gardens are gorgeous and lush, even in a dry Joburg's winter. The staff at the entrance are friendly and polite, and the renovated parts of the venue are beautiful.

I have only ever been for functions so I post this bearing in mind that friends have invited me, and paid for me to be there.

I've found the service is average, depending on the staff member you have. Waiting time requests is really long if you want something simple like a water but quick for orders of higher end alcohol. If you are sober, you'll be thirsty throughout.

I'm vegan and I understand that Country Club food is traditional, so my expectations weren't high. The food was average. On both occasions staff initially acknowledged my dietary requirements but then we're confused about it later. On one occasion everyone was almost finished eating before my order arrived. At the other function, other the manager who served me the starter, I had to remind the waiters with each course that I didn't have the same order as other diners.

A bad day on the golf course is better than a good day at work. Beautiful course, really worth a visit.

What a lovely 40th lunch! Wonderful staff! Beautiful gardens and a jungle gym for the children. We have a great afternoon. Thank You!
