Absolutely wonderful place to stay on our way to Botswana! Very friendly staff and Owner who made us feel at home even though we were thousands of miles away!

We stayed one night and had a good time. The style and furniture in common areas is very nice. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable (some small renovations may be soon needed though, e.g. doorknobs). We also had dinner and it was great: the roasted tomato soup was just delicious!

Small boutique hotel with home touch, spacious, cozy and conveniently situated at the quiet area of Pretoria.There is swimming pool. Owner is really care of the guests. Excellent breakfast. Lot's of shop around.

The Parkwood is one of the best experiences I have honestly had in South Africa. I arrived in Johannesburg to open arms from the Parkwood staff and treated like royalty. The two most important factors for me and for most people are the staff and the rooms, both of which were superb in my opinion. Marcus, the front man, is always at the front gate ready to give you a big smile and ask if he can help in any way. The kitchen staff served fantastic food and catered to every need of mine... What more could you want? Our room was spectacular and found that each individual room was incredibly special in its own way after I had a little tour, but every room different. Our room had its own private outside rest area next to one of the two secluded pools and each room was meticulously decorated and had enormous amounts of space.

The best part of the Parkwood for me was that we were close to everything, the Gautrain, Malls, Shopping and Touristy areas. Thanks again guys, I would go back in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Joburg.

Excellent quiet hotel, luxurious rooms, great food and breakfast. Pools unfortunately not well maintained. Located in a safe neighbourhood. Staff very accomodating and friendly.
