Awesome food and awesome experience. Had one of the best full chickens I’ve ever had. It was spicy, just the way one likes it. They had very reasonable (almost cheap) prices, but that had no correlation with the food as the food was amazing.

We had a couple if beers, lekker food and dessert and everything was excellent. Great job.

Would totally recommend.

I celebrated a birthday lunch at Wanderers in the Captain s room recently. I would like to say how impressed we were with the food, the service and the planning that went into this event by Fortunate. It was a wonderful occasion and we would like to thank everyone involved for their proficiency.

Nice sports club with a traditional bar... however we were really disappointed with the breakfast we recieved when we went to watch an early rugby game. Was extremely overpriced and didn't receive all the food on our plate that was ordered. When we asked the waiter he just laughed and said that's all we have. Food was cold and our cappuccinos alone took an hour to get to the table. I understand that this is not a coffee shop or a mainstream restaurant... but if you have breakfast as an option and you expect patrons to pay for it... then it should be done correctly. The whole experience was just as disappointing as the game was that day.

I attended a conference which was well facilitated. Venue was spotless, staff welcoming and helpful during our stay. Conference food and meetin spaces were of high quality.

Great standard of customer service, and service delivery.

I was very disappointed at the unpreparedness of wanders during a recent tournament. There was no ramp in order to get neither a pram or a wheel chair to the field. The only ladies bathrooms were either locked or again up several flights of stairs! No one to even serve a bottle of water I ended up driving out and going to a KFC because it was easier than trying to find food with toddler in tow. For such a well known and let's be fair EXPENSIVE club I was absolutely disgusted at the lack of services! Please note I am at some form of cricket game at least 3 times a week so I see a lot of venues. I rather go watch a high school game next time.

Excellent venue-caters for any occasion you could think of-has superb array of function areas, friendly staff and able assist and suggest creative solutions-don’t be fooled though, you get what you pay for-no more, no less. The chefs and catering guys know their stuff and come highly recommended. Convenient location, easily found, ample parking and great security makes this a preferred banqueting spot.
