This is my rave review for the service at "We are Food" frozen meals. My daughter first discovered the "We are Food" shop when on holiday in Ballito Bay and loved their meals. Since returning to Johannesburg, she has recently had 2 operations in a 1 week period and cannot use her hand for 8 weeks - cooking is hard! We were happy to find that there is a "We are Food" branch near to her - the Parkhurst branch. I ordered meals online and the only date I could select for delivery was a few days later. I called the head office in Natal and they got the Parkhurst director to contact me - within 1 hour of that call, the frozen meals were delivered to my daughters door. When I contacted the director for a second order as my daughter still cannot drive to the shops, once again, the food was delivered within an hour. This is a massive shout out to the owners of "We are Food" and very importantly to Marc Burnton - director of the Johannesburg Parkhurst branch who organized everything - even when he was away and not at work. 5 star rating for brilliant, friendly, efficient service. My daughter can do her own rating on the actual food ???? but I hear that it's fantastic. Thank you for your brilliant service.

We love We are Food. It is convenient and the portion sizes are good. They are a tad more pricey than woolies meals but I assure you its worth it - great flavour from quality ingredients. Of all the meals we have tried the sundried tomato chicken stood out to us. Also the creamed spinach side it.is.to.die.for! We make trips to We are Food just to stock up on our spinach supplies as it is better than any store brought one we have ever purchased. Thanks We are Food.

I've looked at over 20 other frozen meal providers that operate in the jhb area and none have an online presence and product presentation that compares to We are food. Very impressive and certainly among the leaders in the market and a strong competitor in terms of price, quality and presentation.

Really lovely place to get your frozen meals from. Fantastic vegan offerings included - excellent quality all round.

I'm trying out pre-prepared meal options, and put We Are Food to the test. Despite the meal being tasty, and the shop being nicely fitted out, I am definitely not pursuaded by the product - the Coconut Beef Masala dish contains a measly eight of the tiniest beef cubes, and the consumer still needs to buy (and prepare) any accompanying side, such as rice.

For the price charged and the extra cooking hassle, I would much rather have eaten out.

I have had some scary experiences when it comes to food suppliers; but We are Food is by far my favorite, the quality is good, it looks healthy and the portions are just enough to fill that gap Thank you for your wonderfully tasty meals, that help me save so much time!
