I'm a US expat and economist, who, amidst Covid and having my main office in Pretoria, rented (still renting) a space at WeWork in Rosebank. It's a lovely space, truly. It's full of sunshine, people are friendly, the coffee is good. Some tips on navigating, that I wish I knew: Sakhile is the most incompetent, careless (and dishonest) (sales)person I've ever worked with - I would highly suggest avoiding any sales with him. On the sales side, work with Marc Davids, if you can.

The working space has a fancy look and amenities which are mostly baits. They lack integrity in their tenant billings. Their rental agreement terms have so many pitfalls for constant rental increases. What good does a fancy look do you if you end up crippled by their billings soon?

awesome place to work, very chilled environment and good for productivity. --Just beware of the racist hag who works on the 7th floor...she seems to have a problem with other people in the building using the bathrooms there. As if she owns them or something.

Beautiful, yes, but not amazing. As all the good stuff is covered in other reviews let me highlight two MASSIVE issues that I had and will be the reason I will not choose to have an office there: 1) There is no fresh air. You can't open a window so all the air is recycled aircon air. After few hours of being in any workshop or meeting it's impossible to concentrate, and you need to go outside for fresh air. If you are used to working in a stuffy office maybe it will be ok. Being a creative space I'm suprised they don't know the effects of fresh are on the brain. 2) The security is over the top. If you want guests to come and visit expect them to have a bad time. As a guest, I had to be chaperoned to the toilet every time as you have you go through 2 security doors to get from a meeting room to the toilet. It's awkward and annoying. I understand having security to get in, but there should not be check points to get to the bathroom.
