Ordered hot paneer masala and received a meal that I’ve never even seen or tasted before! Tasted and looked awful! Couldn’t believe the meal I order weekly was made so terribly. I cannot believe the shocking efforts made to rectify this issue after I told them! I seriously need to reconsider my choice of “authentic Indian food”

We ordered the prawn curry and dhall makni, both were absolutely inedible. Extremely spicy and we had to return the food. The waiter kept taking full plates of food away and we had to tell him to stop because he was being so inconsiderate. This place has seen the last of me.

Taste Of Mumbai is located in Food Court in Emperor's Palace. No efforts have been spared to make approach, not only to Taste Of Mumbai but all the foodie establishment in food court. The complete roof has been painted, illuminated and designed in such a way that it gives an illusion of sitting under the open blue sky with wisps of clouds and it feels beautiful and wonderful. This reflects in increased foot prints and profits not only for investor's but also to all the restaurants which cater for cuisines from all over the world.
Taste Of Mumbai, as the name implies caters for Indian cuisine.
We were there for dinner. Seating is in the main plaza over looking the giant replica of statue of David by Michel Angelo and illusion of blue sky's overhead. Ambiance and 'atmosphere ' felt just great.
Buffet dinner was very good. Service prompt.
Do visit it once when in Johannesburg.

Taste of Mumbai is a great Restaurant in Emperors Palace. It is really good Indian cuisine Restaurant where you can find enjoy Indian, Pakistani and bangali taste. There is Buffett which I can suggest you guys per person is cheap and it has Roti, Beryani and Mutton Curry Chicken Curry. And also salad is really very amazing in this Restaurant. I love butter chicken and Mutton Beryani from this Restaurant. There's also little bar where they serve alcohol. Table services are really awesome.

We went for the buffet. There was a big variety of food but taste was very disappointing. Nothing measured up to our favourite Indian restaurants in Pretoria. Long live Mehak in Centurion, Spice of India and Punjab.

Totally disappointing manager skills are not up to standards,instead of finding a solution I was placed in a position.booking was made and was confirmed the day before.when comes to the day the manager states that they are fully booked and there isn't anything they can do. Totally Totally disappointed ???? was looking forward to the food tho

Very dissappointed! Samoosas were refried. Rogan Josh had two pieces of meat and a piece of potatoe of which it was mostly fat. The lentil dhall had a distinct "cream of mushroom" soup flavour! The only compliment I have was the freshly made naan bread and lassi. This is the first time in my life that we wasted this much food!
