Back rooms area and bedding doesn't look good at all, no microwaves in their rooms

Stayed in Feb 2020 there. The shower was so dirty I had to go buy Domestos to clean the black scaling from the tiles. The WiFi was not working. The airconditioner spilled water all over the pillows. Then with payment their credit card mashine suddenly did not work. Will never stay there again!

Paid R500 for 2 adults 1 room. Room has adjoining bathroom with toilet, basin and shower. Rooms have small bar fridge, kettle, tea/coffee, TV and air conditioner. Uncapped wifi available. Close to Noth Cape Mall.

Called to find out what time we could check in and was told we could arrive at anytime. However, when we got there they gave us a room that had not been cleaned yet. Still dirty from previous occupants.

Came back several hours later and the room had been cleaned. Several problems included a bad smell in the room, shower floor was grimy and the kettle was on the toilet. Went to complain and ask for a different room. The manager lady was a little disengaging and first came to inspect to see if the shower was actually dirty. Gave us a new room, but the bathroom floors and shower were also grimy, and the room door could not lock properly. Wifi was too slow to use and TV lagged.

Very bad experience. Should have gone elsewhere.

We stayed there with a group of colleagues. Firstly for two days some of us had no hot water and was told that the municipality was at fault. Secondly the breakfast was poor with chips or a baked potato everyday and cheap tasteless patties. Thirdly the majority of the staff was nice, except for the manager /owner as the lady was just rude and unaccommodating. An example of this was when my colleague was sick and couldn't make it to breakfast. We requested a take away and she (manager/owner) was mumbling that my colleague didn't inform her the night before. Fourthly upon arrival my bin in the bathroom had not been emptied and the bar fridge was dirty and full of coffee stains from previous guests and was only attended to 2 days later after I had to tell the owner. Lastly the manner in which the we were treated was unacceptable as the lady (manager/owner) didn't respect our privacy and one of the doors were not working properly and not locking. The only good things about the place is the new decor and tv channels. Other than that I would not stay there again.

We didn't have hot water and the shower in room 6 shower head is not right but otherwise it was very nice.

There were roaches and ants in the room. The TV was not working as well as the air-conditioning. The stay was not good at all.

Rooms are very dull.....there is no water for the bathroom throughout the night. Really expected more because for the price of the room one expects a bit more than plain white walls and outdated furniture and 1 painting
