We stayed at Bridgewater for 6 nights from the 14 December to the 20th and it was lovely. Our hosts Pat u0026 Lynne were wonderful, friendly and always helpful. Our room was in the front of the house on the left. We didn't notice much noise, and slept with the windows open each night.

The room was large and it had lovely large bathroom with bath and shower. It was cleaned every day to high standard. My Mom's room was at the back and it too was large with its own bathroom. Breakfast was served in a large room facing the lagoon. Breakfast was fantastic with a great choice of cereal, yogurts and fruit salad, along with toast and an English breakfast. The location of the Bu0026B is on the main street into Knysna, and very convenient. The property in front and back was beautiful, well kept and secured with a remote controlled gate. We had no trouble leaving our car on the property and there were always plenty of parks available. There is a nice pool in the front with chairs and deck chairs. The property is right across the road from the Knysna lagoon and has lovely views of the Knysna heads from the dining room and the rooms in the front of the property. Prices were great despite it being Christmas. We thoroughly enjoyed our time Bridgewater.
