We enjoyed staying here a lot. We could see the lake from the room we slept in. They had Everything we needed, including a hairdryer. Would definitely visit again. 100% reccomend Knysna itself is a beautiful place and everything around it is like a fairytale.

Great accommodation with Knysna Lagoon just across the street, retail and other amenities no more than a few minutes' walk away.

Knysna Lakeside is a relaxed environment with great BBQ facilities, friendly, helpful staff, convenient location that sports secure off-street parking, high speed WiFi and the feeling that you're staying with friends.

The owners are awesome, I recommend. Knysna Lakeside both for short stays as well as longer getaways.

Nice place as a base and then ho out for the day to the nearby towns......one bid problem is that you can literally hear everything coming from the flat next door....(paper thin walls).....

Andre is a real gentleman and very helpful. He gave us a map to explore Knysna in all its glory. The room was private with a beautiful view of the lagoon. Lakeside is all done with wood and have a tranquil garden. Thankyou Andre for your kindness an all your help. A gem in Knysna, a little piece of heaven.

Absolutely great accomodation...!!
After I've booked my husbund into so many disappointing places on his work trip across the country - with amazing websites and reviews, but ending up being one disappointing experience after another....!!

Lakeside Knysna accomodation was a blessing and Absolutely amazing....!
You smell the cleanliness when entering the room... Bedding, kitchen, bathroom, everything!!

Everything you might need for a couple of days stay over is there... and everything is in working order!!
The reception and staff is so friendly and so helpful..
Great location... walking distance from the shops, awesome view from the rooms over the lake...

I will definitely recommend Lakeside Knysna accomodation to anyone....

I stayed in a very small room, which wasn't a problem as it was clearly advertised as such, but it was supposed to be self catering, and although it had the small appliances necessary, you had to wash your dishes in the same basin as you brushed your teeth and shaved. This was not only unhygienic, but also the only plug point was adapter with a cluster of plugs just below and to the side of the basin. Any spray from the basin, which was typical as it's a small basin, splashed over the electrical plugs..... hazardous, particularly as the establishment is built from wood.
