Amazing venue and incredible hospitality. Quick and easy communication. Available parking right by your lodge. An evening bonfire on the property with the residents made an incredible stay even better. I would save this venue to my list of go-to places.

Beautifully situated near the lovely karatara water, surrounded by lovely green grass en huge trees. Monkey's to see here and there, birds chirping. It's great. Fire ready to go if you want to barbecue something, if you want to sit more privately and barbecue you can do that as well. There are hiking trails and tons of things to for the adventure seeker. The rooms are very neat, bathroom was spacious and clean. Kitchen had what it needed most. Owner and staff really friendly. Was a great experience and will definitely make use of them.again. Not too pricey and only a few km away from the ocean.

Beautiful, tranquil, relaxing lodge with wonderful host John and Megan (daughter) who made us feel so welcome and went out of their way to assist us by fetching us at midnight in George!! We had blown a tyre and had no way of getting to the lodge. Perfect hosts, made us feel like family. The rooms are super comfortable and clean.
Will definitely be returning!

Incredible location and lovely self catering accommodation. With the calming sounds of nature and a super comfortable, cozy, bed I enjoyed the best rest I have had in ages and feel rejuvenated!

A weekend is too short to visit this beautiful lodge. We had the most relaxing trip on the lake, photographing Fish Eagles and many other birds. The accommodation is outstanding and the amenities top class. Eastbrook River Lodge is a hidden gem!!!

We spent two nights at Eastbrook River Lodge in May of 2018 and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The hosts John and Monche were both very accommodating and welcomed us to their lovely property and made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived.
We were able to wash our bikes off while Monche made sure that all our rooms were ready as I think they could see we had been on a serious adventure before arriving there.
John ensured there was a big old fire going for us each night which we spent hours around just catching up and having a good old laugh.

Facilities are great and far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back on our next bike adventure up the Garden Route. Highly recommended to any other adventure bike riders making their way through that beautiful part of the country.
