This market has a wonderful atmosphere. The food is to die for. There's a good variety of stalls with great stuff. There's the cutest model train that you can ride and live music for entertainment...

A five-star experience! Great food and stalls, playground for children, live music. A wonderful Sunday outing; highly recommended!

A good suggestion for a Sunday family outing. Starting at 10:00 you will have enough time to sleep late and then drive towards Reenendal, about 12 km from the N2 on the west side of Knysna.
Excellent place for a kiddie party, interesting craft market (although small). You can have a tasty Sunday lunch with dessert (R160) or buy ice-cream/coffee or a slice moist chocolate cake at one of the stalls. There is also a selection of cheese, jams and healthy treats.
I saw people with their dogs. Rather phone and find out if you can take your dog along.
My personal highlight was the little steam train. So must fun.
You might have mobility problems with a wheelchair specially on rainy days. The ground surface is uneven. I am not an expert, so please dont let my review stop you from going. Lots of parking available, no entrance fee, on site toilets. Suggested time for this outing: at least 3 hours.

Nice Sunday market. All indoor stalls. Not crowded. Good buffet lunch.

So glad the doors are still open. I hope the old Sunday lunch format will return, and be greatly supported. Enjoyed our meal this past Sunday. Just felt a bit rushed to depart. I feel it's such a lovely space and people should be encouraged to spend the whole afternoon.

We took the short but scenic drive from Knysna to Totties again today and were not disappointed. Pleasantly surprised in fact.
Covid -19 precautions in place.
It was a grey, overcast day but we opted to sit outside where it was sheltered.
Pleasant staff.
The iced coffee was rich, creamy and delicious.
We both opted for the lamb curry. It was a HUGE portion (I ate an adequate sufficiency and still took some away). Served with rice. Perfectly cooked. Dessicated coconut, delicious homemade chutney and chopped tomato and onion.
A cute side salad in a metal mug. Beautifully presented and very fresh and tasty.
The diners behind opted for the hamburgers that also looked massive and I heard them comment that it was the best hamburger they had ever tasted.
Inside were humongous home made cakes that looked very decadent and fresh. Also various pieces of antique crockery for sale.
Well worth a visit.
