We definitely had a lovely quiet evening,although it was just a night,we felt the tranquility of being with the Russels'.The young lady,light in complexion is a gentle giant who made us feel at home from the moment we stepped in to the hotel. Very professional and her never ending gorgeous smile which was infectious.I give the Russell Hotel 10/10 and a 5*treatment. We'll definitely visit the Russell Hotel again and again and again.Kee up the excellent job girls!!!

Excellent accommodation, the breakfast was out of this world. Most amazing service and staff. I had to move my booking a few times and without hesitation the staff assisted me. Thank you for understanding and well done on such a fine hotel. I will most definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through Knysna. Once again thank you RUSSEL HOTEL????????

Warm welcuming bt wish they can use big blankets in winter.Otherwise everything was the best n up to the standard.Breakfast yhoo no 1 aldo.staff welcuming.

The Russel offers beautiful rooms, and it is ideal for people traveling with children. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable one. They provide free breakfast in the morning. Also very well positioned just 3km from the Waterfront.

The hotel is good, but best for an over night stop over or 1 or 2 days in knysna. Breakfast wasnt good, kinda bland and lacked variety. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Just had to walk up a couple of stairs to get to my room with my families lugage
