A pleasant experience to visit Yellowwood Lodge which is an Historical heritage. It is sad that the opposite building is obstructing the beautiful view. Excellent, friendly service, most delicious
meals, beautiful garden, clean and inviting swimming pool, daily cleaning done, visited by many different nations etc. A number one place to visit in Knysna.

My balcony room was quite spacious, but still, I would choose another room. The bed looks big but it's actually 2 twin beds. The room has a musty smell and it needs new pillows. The curtains don't block out the light so by 5:30am the room is full of light. If you are walking you should know that the area where the restaurants are and the boats leave is a 25 minute walk, and walking back at night didn't feel safe to me.

Beautiful garden setting with good breakfasts. However, the room we had was outdated and smelled of damp. Damp was evident in the bathroom with spiders on the walls. Linen was stained and smelled stale. All in all just smelled off and felt dirty which is a pity considering the gardens and the character of the main house.

Very cozy Bu0026B in an english style house. The host is very kind and can give good recommendations. The breakfast is good as well and the rooms are clean. The equipment is not the newest, but you’ll get a long with it, because it fits to the entire premises. TV is nothing special (old TV, no pay-TV as Sky or DSTV). WIFI is good for texting and browsing not for watching film or bigger updates.

Historical building with character. Loved it. It's on the hill side of Knyssna and has some beautiful views on the bay to offer. The rooms are tidy, staff super friendly and breakfast delicious.

Would be a great place if the lodge was a bit more modern - take your chances and have a stay at the yellow wood lodge - give a more in depth review as opposed to this one - and advise prospective patrons before they make a decision - remember wrt accommodate it is the overall experience which the patron has -
