Absolutely TERRIBLE SERVICE!!
I, a distressed macbook owner brought in my macbook for the ‘friendly people at the store’ to help me and boy was I wrong.
The service technician or technically I can’t call him that because he could not tell me what was wrong(his own words) so he’s actually just a sales man treated me so dismissively and with no respect or sympathy. He made me feel that my way of using my very expensive laptop the way I do in my house like a normal human being is the reason it broke and that I broke it due to my obvious ‘high dust environment’ which he pointed out more than once and asked if I cover my screen with the plastic packaging given with the mac.(it would be nice if mac wrote on the box that the packaging is actually there to protect the computer from the high dust volumes in normal houses because apparently the apple store is dust free….) However, after I tried to back it up it confirmed that it is most likely a software problem so how did I break it I ask again. The best joke was when my husband came to stand by me, the attitude changed drastically to a more pleasing version of a human man.
After conversing with this man, I felt like a failure when it comes to computer ownership and felt like giving in my rights to own one. That my friend, is how you made me feel. And sorry, but I came to you for help…not arrogance, dismissal, and blame and yeah, I am allowed to feel that way after choosing to invest in an expensive product like that.
However, then I also have to applaud Wayde/Wayne.( sorry Im not exactly sure what your name is but I know its something like that - I was not on my best that day.)
You are the true meaning of a smiling face, lovely personality and impecable service! If you visit this store ask for him only, I know I will. You made me feel comfortable and actually listened to me when I came back to give in my macbook. Thank you!!
