It's a great place the pool is amazing, paying R150 to braai when you have paid for accommodation is not ideal especially because it's not like they make the fire for you with their charcoal you still have to use your own things and then pay to braai its just not ideal.

The place is filthy service is like non existence the place is highway robbery thefts. I wouldn't even recommend my dogs to stay there. And I count myself quite lucky not have court diseases from the shot stay there. It's a no for me I really and honestly want to give you arl zero but it's just unfortunate I can't.

You know the saying "looks can be deceiving"? Well that's the case with Ecotel Midrand. It's situated in a nice area. That's the only upside to this establishment. Receptionist Darlington looked like he was forced to come to work. Gave us terrible directions to our room. The room was rather tiny. They did a slap-dash job with those rooms. The shower was horrible. The water pressure was very low. Water came out in droplets. We had to remove the shower head to get a decent water pressure. I spent literally 7mins trying to get the right water temperature. The water was either too hot or freezing cold. The sink is so tiny you can't even wash your hands( and mind you I have very small hands). The tv didn't have a remote. No wifi!! In 2022 there's no free wifi at a hotel??? What a joke. There was no tea/coffee station. And that make shift wardrobe is hideous. Only one side of the bed has a night stand. The window handle is broken.No Aircon. Walls are very thin. Gosh I can go on and on. Utterly disappointed

Very run down. Wifi not working and a petty attempt was made to solve the problem. Staff not interested in helping. Dirty outside. Paint peeling off the walls. Unable to get a refund.

Not a great place. The room given was smelling cigarette and there isn’t a heater or air conditioning and it was very cold

The staff is just friendly and the rooms are nice so it's really a nice hotel to book ????

Its a great and cheap place to relax . It has african feeling everywhere. I recommend it to everyone.
