Nothing particularly bad about the chicken but at that price there's a quite a few places that are better. My request for extra sauce was completely ignored and was a bit dry. The cheesy garlic roll is just a normal (store bought) hotdog roll with some cheese on top (not worth the money).

After being disappointed with their pizza a few months ago, I'd given their chicken a chance. Far from my favourite in the area and lots of room for improvement.

Went to El Machos today in midrand. Following issues:

As a big enterprise, you cannot order hot/extra hot they don't have any sauce.chips was not prepared well, it was half fried.
They have stale rolls, no butter. Griller is not working, I was told there is no gas for the Griller yet I was not informed.

Owner/manager did not apologize after me complaining.

I asked for well done chicken and it came back half done.

How can one run a business like this.

Bought the El Machos Family deal oh with extra sauce. The chicken was moist and delicious. The chips yummy, the coleslaw, wish i had bought 2 of those and the rolls nice and fresh. Great meal... will be coming for more.

I had such fantastic food here. Been 4 times now. The chicken is tender and both mild and hot sauces are so flavourful! Pizza bases are great too. Cheesy chicken chips are my favourite. Very good value for money - highly recommend a visit

First time. Good value for money. Burgers were great and awesome chips. Will make a point of making El Machos a regular take out option.

Chicken is succulent, tender and flavourful...
Right up there with the best flavours available in Jozi...
And considering how tough the competition is ... this is no mean feat.
Somebody in that kitchen really knows how to do chicken.

Been at El Machos couple of times and the chicken is AMAZING, went there today 15/06/2022 and it seems they are closing down? I hope this is not the case because i really am looking forward to dining there again.
