Mercure Johannesburg Midrand Hotel

I always enjoy staying at the hotel but this time I was not happy as I didn't enjoy my sleep as there was too much noise in the corridor as there were kids playing and making loud noise from as early as 7 am. I had to phone reception to make them aware and they handled the situation but only about an hour later.

the room was neat and clean. I had to leave quite early in the morning and there was no lights.(load shedding) There should be a small light in the room to cater for load shedding considering we have it so often and it is not going to go away soon.

Staff changed - nobody recognizes us as clients anymore. Old staff go out of their way to make the stay pleasant and new staff are just robots with no courtsey whatsoever.

I stayed at mercure hotel Midrand for 6 months, what a friendly service we had. It turned into my home. I'm definitely going to book there again. I don't wanna talk about food coz they were always on point.

Friendly service from the reception. Well maintained rooms. Neat, clean and spacious. Accommodation made for smokers. Central Midrand and definitely worth it for the price per night. Safe, secure parking area. Convenient store/filling station directly across the road.

For what you pay for it is quite a nice hotel. Breakfast was good. Room decent. Only drawback is next door is an outdoor nightclub and Saturday was blaring music till 3am !!! Wished that I was allocated another room not so close to the music.
