Due to some unplanned work that I had to come and attend to I chose to stay at this hotel. This was a nice stay,based on the reviews I did not think much of the place and was worried.
At the end I can not be more happy with my stay, nice food, friendly staff, the place is clean and the rooms is comfortable and tidy. Rainbow nation at its best from business men to construction workers that traveled far and really tired this place is infact recommended. Yes there is some noise but where in South Africa is there no noise. Based on the reviews I would definitely give the management a thumbs up for taking precautions.

I have visited this place several times. There is both good and bad here. The good, I think it's nice for an affordable stay for a night or two. I found the staff friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was also good.

The bad side was that there were on two nights some Nigerian guys who sounded like they were screaming and fighting in a room somewhere late at night. That kind of spooked me out so I definately will not be back unfortunately.

There seems to be a cockroach infestation stemming from the bathroom. The sandwich was stale and didn't taste anything like a chicken and mayo sandwich. The room was filthy despite having just been cleaned. It is extremely noisy. I would never recommend this place! It doesn't even deserve a rating of one. It should not even be operational based on how disgusting it is.

I just read a review below mine and I see that this place doesn’t change. Please if you’re a woman and you’re travelling alone do not book there!! Its not safe at all, dogdy looking men as guests. I booked for one night and at around 4 am someone started knocking at my door, the person would actually leave their room because I could hear the door noise and they would come knock at my door. There are no phones in the rooms so I had to google the reception number, I called them and luckily the guy answered and said he would come up and check who was knocking, when he got there the person was gone. I was so terrified I couldn’t sleep, the place is also very very noisy I couldn’t mantain my sleep at all. The staff are friendly but the linen smells strange and feels old.

Filthy, noisy, strange men who think if you are a woman you're there for one thing. Don't book yourself in there as a single woman. It's not safe. Rooms smell like mould and sweat. Absolutely disgusting, this place should be shut down

Terrible service!! Ended up being stranded after money was deducted for a booking but no service was provided to me. I was met by the rudest and most callous person, he couldn't be bothered. I had to call my bank to reverse the transaction. Worst hotel ever

This place is noisy as hell. Guests fighting in the wee hours of the morning and staff not helping. My phone line didn't work. No fridge / no microwave in the unit. My Toilet did not flush at all. Will never stay here again and don't recommend it. The room had a serious ant problem also (I'm talking ants on my pillows, in the cupboard and all over the bed), yet the room was cleaned.
