Authentic Durban takeaway. Had the mutton bunnies sit-in and they were the best I've had in Jhb. The owners were friendly and it felt homely. Not a fancy restaurant, an old school Durban Indian takeaway, plastic tablecloths, old pictures on the walls. Very nostalgic, simple menu done well. Very consistent as well.

Most expensive two chicken breast boneless ever. R306 with delivery from Mr D. When phoning to query get told by a very arrogant person that that is how it is. Rice is separate extra. Tells me that he charges for more than a chicken breast cut up. Ripping the public off. Well done. Never going to order from this place again. Ate the 1 chicken breast, well not nearly any taste.

This is the worst biryani that I have ever had. It doesn't have any flavor whatsoever and the portion is very small for R100..
It was just very oily colored rice mixed with 3 pieces of mutton and half a potato..

Disappointing to say the least.

Food was good but they really need to either clean up or refresh stuff. From the card machine to the salt shakers. All dirty and sticky.

Was not busy so didn't have to stress about social distancing.????

I would definately recommend the place.

Food used to be fairly priced and tasty. However they are now greedy. Lady owner is too personal and in your face. Bunny is R100 for 1/4 and Very Tiny with 6 small pieces of meat of which one piece is a bone. Lamb bunny is over spicy. Not child friendly place. Soji is terrible and stale.
Rather go to Diner Boyz in food lovers Centre midrand. They charge R75 for 1/4 bunny but is very tasty and kid friendly. Will not support the purple lounge again! Bad! Clearly they lost their passion and should close up shop!
