Staff are great and helpful although I found that some guests didn't respect the rules and regulations like keeping the kitchen clean and washing there dishes and pots etc after using them. Nice perk they had a TV and a fridge in our rooms. Had an issue with other guests hogging pool table for like 2 hours or more but was resolved without incident but it was unpleasant . Tahlita did try help but they ignored her it seemed. Thanks Tahlita and Noleen for looking after me

Friendly assistance. Kitchen well equipped. Showers and toilets very clean and the price is great.

We booked a private room one day in advance, but when we got there they said another one booked it after us but he paid deposit so they gave it to him, after talking to the manager we realized that it was booked on booking.com because they didn’t update our booking. After that they said that they were doing us a favor and gave us a discount, and offered us to stay in the dorms instead which we didn’t want. The main lobby was full of tents and overall this place looks like a refugee camp, I’d recommend to do everything you can to avoid it.

Terrible place! Avoid at all costs.
We made a phone booking, and upon arrival we've been told the lady at the reception forgot to block our room and that someone booked it through booking.com. No one made an effort to let us know in advance and while we were there they only offered us to stay at a dorm room.
Besides that the place looks like a refugee camp with tents in the living room. luckily we didn't stay there for the night.
Seems like the place is running on reviews from 2 years ago but people should know the place is not what it probably used to be.
I've never written a bad review on a place but that's not how you treat costumers.

basically a soup kitchen for local druggies. I would avoid at all costs. Wi-fi was decent and good location but that was it. I’ve never had a worse nights sleep at a hostel.

Awesome place. Friendly reception and cheap prices. Entertainment for kids and adults, braai facilities, full use of kitchen, self-catering. Will definitely go again...
