We had to about an hour but then 4 sharks came up and it was a fantastic experience!
Would do that again with more focus on the sharks and less to hold my camera :p!
Recommend to have a snorkling mask
with you - they only provide masks and no snorkel!

Truly the best experience you will get, super professional, safety comes first and highly knowledgeable people, Mossel Bay is definitely the place where you want to go and do Shark Cage diving.

This was by far the best experience of my life!
In February of 2022, my boyfriend, father and I decided we would try our luck and go Great White shark cage diving.

Well... White Shark Africa did NOT disappoint!
Not only did we see 3 great whites bigger than 3 meters, the customer service and education we received was top notch. I do not have one complaint. The staff were friendly, the boat was big and comfortable, the snacks were good.

All I can say is, if you plan on going Shark Cage diving... this is your place.

This was a very good experience with regards to seeing the sharks and cage diving. Our guide Tony was incredible and very knowledgeable about sharks. You can tell he’s passionate about conserving this species.
However the company brought their camera crew and it took away from the experience. They were sitting on the cage, and dampened the experience with their”subscribe to my channel” promo videos. It was as though it was the camera crews experience, making us tippy toe around them instead of enjoying the experience as a paying customer. I suggest they shoot their promo videos on their own time and allow customers to enjoy without trying to kill two birds with one stone.
For this reason I would not come back or recommend them as a company.

My personal assessment and recession is based on my opinion. Whether you see shark is, of course, a matter of luck, just like a safari. One star only, because we have not seen sharks. We waited 4 hours but unfortunately no white sharks came. The crew told me that to 90% they have luck. But also that it is different every day. And in recent years less And less shark will be spotted. Another traveller was the day before in Gaansbai and there was a white shark spotted there, but just a little one and he leaved the divers after 20 minutes. We were a few days later in James Town after that and asked the offer company there. They shared with us that in Mossel bay are almost no more white sharks. That we haven't seen any is bad luck, of course.The Crew was very friendly and expert at all times! Since we didn't see anything, we got 20% of the Money back. Whether Mossel Bay, Gaansbai or James Town are the best Areas, I can't say.

Early morning start with loads of interesting information. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately on our trip there was no sharks... only amazing views and loads of seals!

We received a voucher for a future visit; hopefully next time we see sharks!
