Oudtshoorn is famous for its ostrich farms and ostrich feathers - even ostrich racing (you can ride on them). But we were told about the meerkats there. It was a dawn start, drive to the meeting place. Then drive again to tea/coffee and briefing. Then to wait for the meerkats to show up. Worth seeing. They are very cute!
