We only had a one-night stay but it was one of the most memorable of our 2 week trip to South Africa. We felt at home from the moment we were welcomed by the great hosts. The rooms are very large and comfortable, but the time we spent downstairs felt like visiting good friends. We had interesting discussions, a lot of laughs and even sang together. And the food was absolutely amazing! It was chilly and windy outside when we visited, so we spent the evening warm and cozy indoors, but when the weather is right it must be great as well having diner outside, next to the pool and the outdoor bar. And as could be expected, after a good night's sleep, we enjoyed a great breakfast before moving on to our next stop.

We cannot recommend this place highly enough!!

I stayed in Pictures last July and had a wonderful time there. For sure it was the best guesthouse we experienced during our one-month trip in South Africa. The management is simply excellent. Stephan and Fabiano are superstars ! They know exactly what they do, the rooms are comfy and well decorated, the breakfast is amazing (homemade bread and croissant) and the dinner is probably the best food you can find in Oudtshoorn. If you are a foodie and look for an attentive service, go to Pictures.

Unbelievable Guesthouse with two super friendly hosts that made our stay one of the best experiences we ever had so far in Southafrica. And don't miss the dinner there, it's an absolute treat. Highly recommended.

The place to stay in South Africa. What a warm welcome. Stephen and Fabian are very professional and will make your stay unforgettable. The breakfast is wonderful with croissants and homemade bread. A superb egg menu! The evening is amazing. Our best table in South Africa and Oidtshoorn with a wonderful selection of wines. Fabian and Stphen knows what is a five star service.

The hostess are so nice and generous which gives one the feeling of being welcome and wanted.

The food (breakfast and dinner ) was excellent and presentation of it not less than perfect.

We stayed in room no. 3 which was very comfortable and spacious.

You can't beat the hospitality and kindness of the hosts of this guesthouse. You feel very welcome here, every detail were choosen with care by Fabian u0026 Stephen. A special recommendation for the self-baked bread and the 3 course diner, don't miss it!

It was really lovely to stay with Stephan und Fabian. This very nice guest house is perfect for a relaxing visit of Oudtshoorn and definitely a good recommendation.
