Very friendly people. Loved that it is pet friendly. But the unit we booked is being renovated, shouldn't it for that period be removed as a option? Then, while we have load shedding and the house has a generator, call on the guests staying there if they need some hot water, or better, take a flask with hot water to the rooms.
Garden needs some serious attention. When all is done, must be an amazing venue.

The host, the staff, the house, everything is incredible. The beds are divine, the decor stunning, it's so safe and peaceful, I honestly wonder why we ever considered staying somewhere else.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I think we were complicated customers, because of logistics on our side, but each time we changed our plans and asked for help, it was no problem. They made it feel like we weren't inconveniencing them or causing any extra effort in anyway. I am so grateful.

Also this was our last night in ZA, and we couldn't have chosen a lovlier and more comfortable place to stay. Our 2 toy pom dogs were with us, and the staff greeted them with so much love and joy. I can't express my gratitude enough. Oh and during loadshedding, we were checked in on, on our first night to make sure we were fine and had everything we need, and thus was at 10PM, btw. We had light and uninterrupted WiFi.

What a beautiful memory for our last night in South Africa before we emigrate. This is literally what the rainbow nation is all about, the kindness, the joy, the comfort, the community. I'm literally sad thinking about leaving!

Anyway, thank you Zettie and your incredible staff, and thank you for all the accommodating and help, even with our short notices and messy schedule.

Home from home with real family atmosphere. Hosts are most accommodating u0026 made our "honeymoon" anniversary breakaway all the more memorable. Highly recommended.

Owner was extremely rude.
Went as part of a team for which breakfast was paid for for some people.
A tiny yoghurt which was included in the breakfast that was paid for were given by those people to other members of the team. The host charged R15 per yoghurt to those who ate it just because it was not eaten by the people who paid for it. Owner was shouting over the phone and we were accused of stealing yoghurt from her. Place is extremely dusty. Most days they would switch the geyser off and we would not have hot water. Also were not allowed to use the air conditioner due to electricity price hikes and the owner giving a negotiated price to the company. Owner did not communicate to the company paying nor to the visitors who stayed there. Also all the towels were damp and smelly. All towels also had pubic hair stuck into them. The entire teams towels had the same problem.

An original VOC house, the rooms adorned with original furniture. And all well maintained. A prerogative to stay here and have chats with our friendly host.

Homely feel guest house with a large family room available to accommodate up to 4 people. Personalised attention paid to every guest staying here.

Peaceful and tranquil and very friendly Owner and staff. Everything was neat and clean. Wonderful weekend.
