I have been training for years on this gym. What I have experienced is that services are starting to decline. Many machines are broken and it takes months to fix it.

As of late planet fitness just gym has been offering the worst service when it comes to equipment, actually not even as of late it’s been a thing for some time now. I don’t know whether we don’t complain enough or management simple doesn’t care and when I mean management I don’t mean the guys on the ground because wow the stuff is really the best but the equipment wow ????????????????????????. I would not recommend it to anyone. I’m still attending because it’s the closest gym to where I live but really it is by far the worst gym when it comes to equipment!!!

Although, I really like this gym a lot of the machines are not working and never get fixed. It's a bit of a mission as you have to wait to use them especially in the busy times. The treadmills are the biggest issue in this regard.

Worst gym in maritzburg, bar none. Literally half of the machines are constantly broken. Regularly no soap in the bathrooms. What they claim to be “sanitizer”, placed on the gym floor, is nothing stronger than tap water. No visible management, ever. Weights lay scattered all over the floor, so you never find the dumbbell or plates that you need, exactly when you need it. There are not enough barbells to service all the benches and squat racks. A terribly managed gym and complete hygiene hazard. Owner and management should be embarrassed!

Experiencing challenges in spinning class. Bicycles are breaking now and again. Not sure whether it their quality or just non matainance.

It's probably the best gym I've been to so far. Very functional too. It does tend to get abit too overcrowded during peak hours. But these are the golden hours of motivation. Probably might even make a friend or two
