2nd visit to this amazing Guest house, and I'd rate it top notch, yet again. Easy to book, accommodating with check in's and such a comfortable room for a one night (last minute) stay. Will definitely keep this place on my go-to list for PMB visits.

When we arrived we felt like the area was a little bit decapitated and the walls on the outside looked as though they could use a coat of paint. We had confirmed our stay and they had been kind enough to allow us to pay on arrival al so we did the right thing.
When we entered the gates to the property we had to park opposite the next property which is flats that seem very run down.
We went in we met the owner who was welcoming enough. Although he wouldn't allow us to stay a little after che k out because the cleaning staff must start cleaning. I think business owners can use their discretion in such cases but again. We understood.
The house is beautiful and well decorated. I didn't sleep a wink. The people next to us were making so much noise and there mus have been at least 4 people there which was a lot. In their defense the house has high ceilings and wooden floors and it is a double storey so you can hear everything without anyone being blatantly loud. I messaged the owner around 12:30 to advise him of the noise levels. He told my husband there was nothing he could do about how people behave. Perhaps he is right but the reason for my review is really just to make the next person aware. I certainly will never be returning or recommending this place.

The room was luxurious and very clean for an affordable price , the manager seemed to be a very nice and welcoming person . Really felt safe and enjoyed my stay there!! its worth it

Positive: We were only there for one night but the host was very friendly and helpful and the room was more than comfortable and very clean. You really get your moneys worth and i would recommend this place to anyone passing through Pietermaritzburg.. Negative: No complaints.
