It's a worthwhile experience
Service was nice
Decor was good looking and thought out
Food was decent
Prices where fair

Though the drinks where overpriced and lacked variety. The milkshakes tasted artificial and lacked passion, though it looked good.

The pizzas we had where creative, though I felt still that it was generic. The flavors and textures clashed chaotic. It was will presented and had a good base.

The service was snappy but the drinks came alittle slow.

I would came here if you wanted to go for dinner with family or for a small birthday party for a kid.

Great food but the service could be better. The 50% birthday voucher also only applies to a maximum of R500.

Amazing staff. Prices are very fair and competitive, especially if you have a Southern sun rewards card. The outside seating is amazing during the day and the overall experience is awesome. I highly recommend this for a date or catching up with friends.

I'm there almost every Friday, and we are always greeted by friendly staff and an amazing manager. Their food is absolutely amazing, their pastas and butter chicken is something no restaurant in pietermaritzburg can compete with.

Wonderful food and some interesting menu choices that are innovative qithout being radical. We really enjoyed the butter chicken pizza - a good example of 'enhancing on the basics.

The exterior furnishing and ambience were a little sparse, but the food compensates for this

VnV has been a go to place for me and my family but as the years go by their service is deteriorating, number one at the door you now wait for almost 15 minutes waiters are just passing by and not even looking at you and finally when you get seated it like they forget about you. Drinks orders take 20 minutes to be brought to us simple orders like cans of soda. Food is worse you literally forget you have ordered. It really bad the stuff should up their game.

Service I'd say 2 out of 5, they're slower than expected.
Food was good tho.
