We booked 3 rooms for 5 people for 2 nights (25 and 26 Aug 2017). This cost me R5400. The experience was utterly disappointing. The advertisement on the web was totally misleading: In each room there was NO MINIBAR, NO SLIPPERS, and EXTREMELY INTERMITTENT WIFI (much more time disconnected than connected, with virtually NO SIGNAL). The two drinking glasses in each of two other rooms, were missing from one room. No rooibos tea sachets in at least one room, but many in the central dining room. Outside on the patio, the sprinkler system, when kicking in, guarantees to drench your lower legs when sitting at the large garden table. The large garden table also had bird droppings on it, and was not very appetizing to sit at. The service was not so hot either. At breakfast, expect any poached egg to look very much as if it had been prepared in a microwave (full of bubbles and not soft at all). We did not get fried "soft, sunny side up" eggs after ordering so. Coffee machine in central dining room does not yield the output (temperature and volume) one would expect and that it is designed for - probably needs decalcifying. The room my wife and I stayed in, had one curtain pelmet completely skew, as if it would fall down any minute. Otherwise, the muffins at breakfast were OK, but I will not stay here again.
