The restaurant was amazing. The food is to die for. I would surely go back for more and more of their meals. Additionally I loved how the waitresses and waiters service the customers.

The service in the store is appalling. Only 2 waiters on a month end weekend, the sushi chef was extremely slow and it took us over an hour to get a simple avalanche poker bowl, almost 20 mins to get oysters. The manager, however, wad extremely accommodating and apologetic. I'm extremely disappointed considering, I've changed from the other seafood restaurant to JD.

Visited the restaurant on the 30th of the month and it took us almost 40 minutes to get oysters and the restaurant didn’t have fresh salmon, being a seafood restaurant. The sushi chef was apparently new and was learning, on duty alone and extremely slow. The restaurant was not even at full capacity. Surely management should have factored in that it was a month end weekend and had more waiters on the floor cause they only had two.

We ate a quick salmon platter at John Dorys yesterday. We drank beer and my other friend had wine. The wine was served in an extremely dirty glass, and we had to wait a long time for our sushi to be prepared with only a few customers in the restaurant. The roses and maki was amazing, but the california rolls were falling apart, and the rice was too sticky and rough to eat. At least the service from our waiter was amazing.

Such a disappointment. Waited over an hour for food. Arrived at 18:00. Left at 22:00. Stil hungry.
Manager not well presented.
Waiter was friendly but service was very slow.

All was not that bad. Staff friendly. The sushi took forever to arrive at the table. Then the platter was almost cold.
