I would give -5 stats if that was an option.
I bought some bar stools, on Friday afternoon, took them home, immediately realized they would be too high. I did not unpack any of the 4 sold, just took out one of the legs to check the height.
I returned them on Sunday, only to be told I would only get the refund after 7 working days and I would be charged a 5% handling fee.
I said I did not agree about that, as there was hardly any handling at all, they referred me to a very blurred frame, hanging nowhere near the cashier, with a printed "terms and conditions" which was difficult to read. There in, states that 5 %.
I had not been instructed to read this, when I bought the stools, not was I informed of the Term, but was it brought to my attention.
They then told me it is also on their website. I asked if I was supposed to study their web site before I bought anything, and I just got that "blank" stare with no reply.
PLEASE CHECK THIS STORES TERMS AND CONDITIONS
BEFORE YOU BUY ANYTHING.
Better still, go buy from a reputable store with a decent return policy, than to risk losing 5% of your money.

No buzz.
Staff friendly u0026 helpful.
Furniture well priced and we could find what we want.
We actually were pleased with the variety of furniture we could put together to get almost exactly what we wanted

Either we were lucky again. We have shopped many times at this Decofurn (Silverlakes) and other branches. Thus far we had an overall good experience again this weekend. Johan the assistance manager assisted us even though he does not get the commission. We have changed our order so many, and every time Johan patiently made the changes to our order. The proof of my 5 stars will either stay at 5 or drop depending on the delivery time and or if our goods are delivered damaged.

I’m a reasonable guy…my family say I am too polite, that I will avoid conflict, that I want to keep everyone happy…well here’s me hoping to keep you happy – go shop somewhere else.

I went to DecoFurn at the end of December 2020 to purchase patio furniture; I was told by the sales person and the manager that the items would be delivered within 7 – 14 days, maximum. Fast forward to the third week in January when I visit the store to get an update – you guessed it – no communication – now am I told by a sales person who is carrying on as if she has better things to do with her time than attend to my query, that ‘they should have told you’ that the good would be here in Feb or March 2021.

Well, ‘they didn’t’, so here we sit. I decide to be patient and wait another month…and yes…you guessed it, no communication and no delivery. Seems it is now March or April. I am such a reasonable guy that I will be polite to you even when you’re plain straight full of $hit…and honestly these guys don’t care.

I decided to get a refund and buy elsewhere. Honestly, the R250 saving per item has not been worth the irritation these clowns have caused.

There are SO many other places to support during such difficult times, and I am sure they will take your business much more seriously than DecoFurn.

YES, the shop has variety
YES, the shop is well laid out
YES, it is tempting to save the R250
YES, it has the appearance of convenience

BUT NO, it’s not worth your time, effort and money.
