It took some time to get service and when we eventually got service it felt like they first had to ferment and bottle the beer before bringing it. Apart from that, it took nearly an hour to bring a burger and pie.

The burger was flavourful, I was glad to see and taste that the beef burgers wasn't filled with herbs or spices while nicely seasoned on the outside with a nice char. The pie's lamb was tender but definitely not karoo lamb, or didn't taste like it. The pie's dough was a bit stodgy so we only ate the fillings

To be honest, the food wasn't worth the wait and we'd recommend to rather visit this place if and when it's quiet.

Lovely bohemian feel, lots of arts, gorgeous furniture, the staff is very friendly, unfortunately we didn't have time to grab a bite but the menu looked good, although a vegan option or two would be appreciated

This is truly an artistic/book lovers/decor enthusiasts experience. The place is really large even though from the lynnwood main road it looks small and quaint. There are numerous stores here which I visited: the pottery barn where classes for pottery, figurine making and the likes take place. There is also pots and ornaments and crockery to buy as gifts for your loved ones! Then there is a hippie shop with clothes, candles and the likes. A charity shop too where second hand clothes are bought and sold. A lovely book store with second hand books to buy, a few coffee shops and the Karoo Cafe restaurant itself. Also a plant nursery with a variety of plants to choose from! A cement furniture and reclaimed wood shop is also available for your furniture needs. The cafe experience was overall amazing. The food quality exceptional. Some of the ingredients in your food is grown right there on the erf by a hydrophonic plant!!!! Average per person for two drinks and a meal R160 with 10% tip. Very worth stopping off here on a relaxing Sunday just to get out of the house and wander a bit!!! Really an awesome place ????

The Karoo Cafe is rustic, cosy and inviting. The restaurant boasts a fantastic menu with even better food! ????????
Browse around the 2nd hand bookstores' amazing selection of reading materials and when you're done, check out the other unique and interesting stores dotted across this location. Worth a visit!

Surprising Quirky Cafe with great service and delicious food. Most of the breakfast items include their famous roosterkoek but I'm not complaining... they're deliciously fresh and served steaming hot.

Cozy and rustic atmosphere. (but the lines between rustic and neglect are a bit blurry) The food is good and well presented, all in all a pleasant experience.
