Pity one can't select a zero star. I generally don't write reviews but this is warranted. Stunning setting, but the most APPALLING (non) service! I spent 3 days there on a training course with a blue chip SA government department, sponsored by international banks and donors. Don't waste your time ordering food, or expecting any service, at all. Attitude, food, service, everything-all pathetic! Such a pity to see so much potential completely wasted. I will NEVER EVER EVER go back. Nor will the government department, the sponsor or the donors. Don't waste your money!

Stunning atmosphere. Very comfortable and cozy. It's great for a conference, a romantic meal or even a group celebration. (If you're going for just a meal, phone ahead to ensure you can be accommodated.)

Terrible experience awful service if you are lucky to find someone to serve you and the worst food I've eaten ever...and I am not exaggerating. I stayed there for 3 nights and I hosted 45 people for a 3 day workshop....never again. I am still apologising to my guests for some of their experiences

Worse place I ever stayed in - place is beautiful but what happend with the staff and electricity the place went dark every night at 10 at night and at 5 in morning it went on again - I slept in my car to charge my phone and fell down the stairs to get to the front door and no staff and no security to be seen and if you want to order for food you have to find the chef and he is the porter and the reception and the waiter .... I were horrified

Entrance is very bumby and needs to be tarred.
Reception staff looked very confused with my Booking.com reservation. No one had masks on. We were taken to room 2 which had a great feel when you walk in, quite spacious but had an old feel to it in terms of the bed linen and curtains. The bathroom only had a bath and was stained. We had requested to be moved to another room with a shower and were taken to room 3 by the manageres who infact was very helpful in assisting us with all the things that we required, she did have her mask on. Room 3 had a very small bathroom but had what we needed. I'd say it is definitely in need of a revamp though, no toilet holder, soap holder in the shower broken and no decor. TV could definitely be mounted to the wall as it was in a location where if you were watching TV from the bed you could not see over the foot board of the bed, also no 2 pin plugs. The fridge was old, damaged and unstable, froze our milk. No aircons in either of the rooms. The bed....the linen was not changed after the previous guests, I found a long hair in the bed. 1 pillow was stained, and the bed itself is old and makes so much noise when turning.
This place looks absolutely lovely complimented by the restaurant and the green garden. Beautiful settings and would make a great wedding venue, but I really do regret to say that the accommodation needs some serious revamp.
We are a couple that are currently hunting for a wedding venue and thought that this would be a really nice place to get married at, but I will not let our family and friends stay in the rooms.

Room 8 we stayed in was a cold and poorly lit room. Jacuzzi bathu003dbroken. Black tie function (Burns Evening) was marred by waiting staff who had been very poorly (or at all?) trained. The (warm) white wine ran out BEFORE the function and the MCC was also WARM. The food (rare roast beef) was cold and served on cold plates. Breakfast set to start at 630am was still not ready at 8 am. No Management in sight on the evening or following day. We merely left our keys on the counter and left. Don't waste your time or money going here.

What a gem! Hidden away among the busy streets of Lynnwood you'll find them tucked away between lush gardens. Definitely one if my "hide-away" spots when you would like to break away from the office to focus and relax. Their tranquil setting offers great function options which include weddings, conferences and various other events. On site accommodation ensures that arrangements are all taken care off.
