Awesome authentic Chinese place! Chefs are China Chinese. Jasmine palace is much smaller and dishes much more limited. 非常正宗的中菜

There were more roaches on and around our table than dishes and guests combined. Absolutely filthy. If I have to be honest I will never eat here again. If they dont care about roaches and filth front of house I'm nauseated thinking about what their kitchen must be like.

Saturday we had a craving for Chinese food our usual eating-out establishments were closed and this ons was sort of open. The guy was locking up when we stopped outside but ensured us he was only on the way to buy something at the shops. So in we went. Very dark inside and no other customers but as we had been in a very busy Johannesburg we decided to stay.
Menus were sticky but table clean. Ordering drinks he went off coming back to tell us not available. So had to settle for soft drinks. Some food was unavailable but they had sweet and sour pork and as we were very hungry we decided on it with the rice. It did not take too long to arrive think he was chef as well as we saw no-one else. It was very oily and dried out.
Rather give this place a wide berth and eat somewhere else we were very disappointed.

Was a little disappointed with the food. The sushi was okay very sweet and the avoid was crunchy and brown in some places. The soya sauce was not the original soya sauce you usually get served with sushi. Would not go back or recommend.

Place is run down. Prices was on par with other better Chinese Restaurants. Food was fair but you can do so much better within a 2KM radius. Give it a skip.

The restaurant is very good for real Chinese cuisine. Chinese tour groups normally go there, because it is not Westernized Chinese food. Is the real deal.

Lovely food although the service is a bit slow, especially in big groups
