If you want a taste of Portugal visit this place. The food is how it's made in Portuguese homes.simple but yet tasty and it's a whole new experience from our normal SA good.the staff is friendly and welcoming.the bread/roll are fresh and just out of this world..the fish I had was amazing..the music is calming n the set up or design is simple Portuguese deco.

The experience reminded me of restaurants when I was a child. The food took a while, but it was very much worth the wait. In a word: delicious! Best caiparinha I have ever tested. This is a hidden gem.

We arrived with high expectations of an authentic Portuguese culinary experience and left feeling unhappy. There was only one server to service the entire restaurant which in itself was just not acceptable, even though he tried his best, he wasn't coping at all. To top it all he was also in charge of the bar. The food also disappointed. The chicken liver starter was not available and we were offered giblets which we declined. We then had the prawn rissoles which was not bad. Also, the starter and main course arrived simultaneously without any explanation or apology. The biggest let-down however, was the main course. The grilled half chicken was bland and the meat dry and left us wanting. We thought that the pasteis De Nata surely would be a safe choice for desert, but we were wrong. It was overly sweet and had a heavy topping of cinnamon powder and tasted nothing like what we're used to. During the entire meal nobody enquired about our wellbeing or whether we might want to order. We had to call the server each and every time we wanted something and to finally get the bill. All-in-all a disappointing experience.

Friendly service. However the food is not what it used to be. Still fairly prised but bland. Ordered chicken livers for starter and they did not had in stock.

Great Southern African Portuguese style cooking, plenty of tables and always space for more happy people.

Amazing sangria, chicken livers, spring chicken and seafood! A must for any Portuguese food lover! The waiter was super and totally attentive. The restaurant doesn't look inviting from the street view, but its cozy and comfortable inside.... The food and service will have me returning here soon!
