Absolute most diplorable service. Ordered a platter online for delivery and NEVER arrived. I NEVER GOT MY FOOD! Tell how that works?! No actual answees from the restaurant. How do you charge people for food that you never send out?

I am glad to say that the issue was resolved and Ocean Basket followed up with me constantly after this review. It's comforting to know that they do not ignore customer's feedback and are proactive. Thank you

Stopped by to order dinner for takeaway and had a few drinks while we waited.

Douglas was very friendly and it was a joy being served by him. We'll definitely be back.

By far the worst culinary experience I have had at any restaurant. I am a big fan of Ocean Basket, but this order of R800 was incomplete (no sides in my delivery), the prawns at best were overcooked, with half of them burnt so bad you cant eat it, and did not have any of the lemon butter sauce requested. The creamy saucy mussels were packed in unsealed containers, so when the order arrived all the sauce were in the plastic bags, and our cold mussels were dry and pretty bland. I tried to phone to get my money back or at least get a decent round of food, but no feedback. We ended up binning the food and making our own cheese sandwiches.

Bought from Ocean Basket at Waverley Plaza. Food is half cooked, didn't get the salad or the squid. Paid almost R200.00 for bad service. This is rediculous and I will not recommend this Ocean Basket. Rather drive another 5km and support someone that tries to give you what you asked for.

Arrived at the place and it was empty without any music playing which left the place feeling like a hospital. After requesting music the team then attended to it but could see it was a lot of effort. Ordered Zucchini that was clearly fried in old fish oil that left my enitre family ill the entire night and next day. This place is bad and will not recommend any person to eat here as they are not hygienic at all.
