The food was divine! Home cooked Sunday lunch - the best! The lamb shank and the oxtail is to die for. Value for money.
I was a bit disappointed with the milktart.

Like the specials. Henk, gives excellent service and makes sure one is very well served and you get exactly what you ordered and is always pleasant.

We were there on the 8/7/2022 and we absolutely got the best assistance and friendliness from our waiter Philea. The food was amazing as well but we just wanted to show our gratitude for our waiter that served us, we just want to thank you for the friendliness and the assistance that you offered us. You definitely deserve a raise!!

Great atmosphere! Friendly and helpfull waiters. Food is always delicious and fresh! Service is real quick, no matter which meal you order. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Place is much better than it was before.
The staff is friendlier and the food is much better than it was. Previously I wouldn't recommend them but with the new people there. Its a big step up. I would recommend them. Went from 2 star to 4 stars. Would see me and the family again

Been several times times and enjoyed this popular restaurant every time. Situated within 4km of the cbd_ the restaurant is in an old 19th century national monument built of wood and iron.

Street parking has a good car guard,

Not particularly wheelchair friendly as there are lots of steps.

Food Is very good and reasonably priced. Limited wine list that us not overpriced

The oldworld atmosphere makes the place very attractive. The staff are welcoming and efficient
