We had a great breakfast experiance at The Place. The staff are friendly and efficient and knowledgeable about their food.

The owners/managers are great hosts, and the food was to die for. If you are looking for real unique South African breakfasts, head over and spoil yourself a bit.

Had an awesome coffee milkshake, and the breakfast was great, the waitresses are very pleasant and really make you feel welcome.

Ordered a fruit salad with muesli, the fruit was very tasteless, tasted like it was in the fridge for a very long time. Definitely not fresh after the waitress said they buy their fruit fresh daily. Instead of honey they gave syrup. Poor food presentation which was not appetizing either. All round the food/presentation wasn't pleasant, second time in 6 months having a bad experience here. I'll rethink where I go next time.

Was there on Sunday at 12.15 got the first course at 12.50. The main meal at 13.50..... by that time we were no longer hungry. Please check on that. Still

Conveniently situated in Newlands in small shopping centre with a super spar, chemist etc. Friendly staff and good food. Easily accessible and enough parking space. Quick service.

Excellent restaurant and the food is absolutely scrumptious and very good prices not to even mention the friendly and well trained waiters. In my books one of the best restaurants in Menlyn area.

I loved the vibe and the waiter was very friendly. The big plus for me was that we could sit outside on the "stoep" with our husky, there is not a lot of places that would have accommodated us.
