Popped in last Sunday, 15 May.
Staff were apathetic, service slow.
Ordered a Chai Tea Latte to be told there wasn't any, no apology.
Partner ordered a Crunchie Milkshake.
This was served in a plastic "glass" - we were sitting in the restaurant, this wasn't a takeaway order!!! The cream /topping was overflowing the container and onto the saucer. No serviettes supplied either.
The experience wasn't a good one.
Poor value for the price and we will not be returning. How can anybody get a simple order like ours so wrong?
Even a 1 star rating is too high, but the site won't accept a review without a rating.

The decor of this place is really nice. Herringbone tiling and wood work with the lushness of the greenery creates a calming vibe.

The food was meh. I have had better pancakes from Checkers or Spar itself. At least it was cost effective but I wouldn't exactly call it value for money because that implies value.

Their card machine also did not work which really annoyed me because I had to walk to the ATM. It is 2021 and they couldn't accept a card. Furthermore, the server had a nonchalant attitude. It would have been a different story if they were nice or apologetic.

1st time here. Decent breakfast. The hashbrowns look like cut up fries so unsure what that was about. It would have been nice of they asked if I wanted ice in my drink seeing it is such a hot day. Waiter seemed very slow and I had to go up and ask for menus. The place wasn't busy so no excuse.

Terrible service from the moment I walked in. All staff ignored us. There were 4 staff members around the cash register. No communication with us, no eye contact. Got a bad feeling as soon as we entered. Luckily we chose to not order anything and we decided to leave. I suggest visiting another restaurant. Don't even bother going to this one.

I really love the food here, it's really worth it. Quiet and some alone time is always good. Still have to try the piece of cake/tart of the day but still saving for that:-)

I love the staff from bean tree when im there i feel at home. I love evrything i have bought der i actually get advise on wat to try but im satisfied. I dnt eat chicken livers but i ate dem nd ddnt even realise dat it was dem. So well done to al the staff there especially Pamela????

Quite overpriced for the quality and the staff aren't the best communicators.
Card machine broke while we were there and that took about 20 minutes to resolve.
