I did not have high expectations when I drove in here. Sometimes, that can be a good attitude to hold, because in this instance, I was pleasantly surprised. Received very friendly welcome and service. I ordered the mutton curry with roti. The rotis were fantastic, light and airy, and very tasty. Actually, its the best roti I have had! The curry was good, well flavoured, with the right proportions of meat, gravy and potatoes. With regards to the heat/hotness of the curry, I think they have opted to play it safe, as it was medium in my opinion. Will go back to sample the other menu options.

Very big menu with a wide variety that claims to be of the same unique taste of “local Durban Curry” in Johannesburg. Not being to experienced in the specific taste that would be deemed Durban curry, but having quite some sense of experience on Indian cuisine as it is my favorite, I must sadly admit that I was not impressed at ALL. Additionally the wait was extremely long.

There is no rating low enough to score this establishment. When i showed them the photos of their R70 quarter mutton bunny chow they argued saying they followed the same protocol as always and they are happy with the way it looks. They offered a bean bunny as an apology. If you happy to pay R70 for a mediocre curry with 3 pieces of meat and a potato inserted into an half empty loaf of bread, then this your kind of place. I have a voice recording of our conversation to prove their ignorance and unwavering mentality to argue rather than to please their clients. GO TO LUGZ OR TOP HAT BAKERY FOR THE BEST AUTHENTIC DURBAN CURRIES BUNNY CHOWS!!!!!!

Good curry... But not as good as proper Durban curry. Nice try though.

BUNNY CHOW HALF EMPTY. NO JOY FROM OWNER TO RESOLVE THIS MATTER. GO TO ANY OTHER CURRY PLACE FOR A BUNNY CHOW. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
